- CIT Trivia -
Brochure boasts: "You will spend ten weeks together this summer learning more about God, Christians, Church, Day Camp, kids, being a leader and a counselor and much much more. When you aren't doing that, you will be having time for recreation, special workshops, and you will spend a week backpacking. And, you will have a chance to be with the kids twice a week, (which means you will have to go to such boring places a Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, Marineland, Universal Studios, Raging Waters, and maybe even and Amtrak ride and a B-B-Q at the infamous La Mirada Regional Park!)". Cost: $250/summer. Sold M & M's to help earn money. Spent a week backpacking and 2 weeks "counseling".

- CIT Trivia - This year we added a week working in VBS and a week at Hume Lake. Cost: $350. Dan Watson and I each swallowed a live fish on the backpack trip. (Yes, of course it was a dare!)

- Other Trivia - Went to Baja Reef at Marineland, this is the year I got in a car accident and had to wear a full leg cast at the end of the summer and sit around and let others do most my job!

- CIT Trivia - $325/summer. This year the backpack trip included a "solo", in which everyone had to spend the night by themselves, away from everyone else!

Still going to Pickwick Pool, Queen Mary, Dodger games, circus. Team points for sandcastle sculpting and picking up trash. Ed and Rick still trying to "stall for time"... Kids bringing skateboards, boogie boards. The "quiet" room.
